Sayonara Japan

And with that, Japan is finished, here are some final pictures.

This is the only picture I actually took with the ipod in Sendai. There wasn't many tourist spots there but it was a very nice city. Lots of trees (in fact it is named the city of trees), and seems like a nice place to live except for the occasional earthquake and tsunami.

Back in Tokyo I stayed in a capsule hotel next to the "golden poop" building

Sumo! It's the first day of the grand tournament, and I got to see world class wrestlers. Possibly the best bout was between a foreigner who had the build of an amateur pro wrestler (maybe 250 lbs and muscular) versus a Japanese who was probably 350-400 lbs. Instead of just colliding and having a pushing match the foreigner grabbed his arm and spun around him, getting completely behind him and tripping him easily. I didn't see anything like that in the probably 50 other bouts I saw.

Behold the capsule! Just a simple bed in a plastic box. But it had a tv, radio, and alarm clock as well.

Many capsules. The only problem was that they didn't really have doors, just a curtain, so the sound travels.

Thanks for the memories Japan!
