Beautiful Taiwan

I was looking through my pictures and thought that I did too much stuff these past 3 days to contain within one email:

One of the totally new foods. It was meat in a sugary sauce with some vegetables, all wrapped in a gelatinous wrap. The meat had this special flour that is supposed to be good for cleaning your blood. Looks gross, tastes great

Waterfall with mineral-rich water close to the coast.

Colorful bridge at a fisherman's wharf on the coast.

A view from Taipei 101. There aren't very many other tall buildings in Taipei so it's possible to see very far. It's just too bad it was raining and overcast that day. Oh, also when I was up there Taipei had a military exercise. The buildings were all locked and all the cars on the street stopped for 30 minutes. The city essentially shut down for 30 minutes on a Wednesday afternoon, strange.

Night market! I got a spring roll made by an old couple at a night market. These markets are full of food, snacks, shops and entertainment. They are a very popular evening activity for Taiwanese people.
